Training Day with OFA

May 16, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

We have less than 6 months until the mid term elections! Predictions of a “Blue Wave” abound BUT it will not happen without civic engagement by ALL OF US!

Indivisible Common Ground OFA – WNC is hosting a training to get us ready to talk to our neighbors and hold our elected officials accountable.
This training will help us to leverage a diverse set of tactics and ideas — and give us the skills, confidence, and drive to LISTEN to our neighbors, ENGAGE unaffiliated voters, and PERSIST for as long as it takes! Our civic power training will include talking about how to have effective conversations and apply that to voter registration, canvassing and other events.

We believe in a more participatory and accessible democracy and everyone should have the opportunity to have their voice heard and we will get your started.

We hope to see you there!

Join Indivisible-Common Ground-OFA-WNC on May 16th from 6 – 8:30 pm at the Jackson County Public Library for an informative training with Traci Wile (Director of Community Engagement) and Alex Woodward (Digital Organizing Director) from Organizing For America HQ in Chicago.

Light refreshments will be provided!
