NC Poor People’s Campaign : A National Call For Moral Revival
Fifty years ago, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King called for a Poor People’s Campaign to begin a “revolution of values” in America. Rev. Dr. William Barber and Rev. Liz Theoharis are reigniting these efforts to unite the poor, disenfranchised, and marginalized to transform the political, economic and moral structures of our society.
The Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival is uniting tens of thousands of people across the country to challenge the evils of systemic racism, poverty, the war economy, ecological devastation and the nation’s distorted morality. Beginning in May we will stand united with folks across the country, at state capitols and in Washington, DC; to fight the policies that perpetuate these systems. We need you to step up and join our efforts.
